About This Role

Togetherwork is seeking a highly strategic, customer-obsessed Product Manager to help shape the future of our products and platform. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of product strategy and delivery—from early discovery and business case development to launch execution and post-release optimization.

You’ll partner across engineering, UX, product owners, sales, and customer success to identify meaningful customer needs, design innovative solutions, and bring high-impact products to market. This position is ideal for a product leader who thrives in discovery, loves solving complex customer problems, and is eager to leverage AI and modern tools to accelerate product development.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Planning

  • Develop product strategies and roadmaps that address real customer problems and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • Build strong business cases for new investments, including financial models, ROI analysis, and competitive insights.
  • Present recommendations, roadmaps, and updates to senior leadership, clearly articulating the “why” behind product decisions.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, strategic fit, revenue potential, and operational constraints.

Customer Discovery & Innovation

  • Engage directly with customers through interviews, workshops, testing sessions, and beta programs.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset while balancing business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Explore new technologies, business models, and AI-driven capabilities to keep our products ahead of market trends.
  • Leverage AI tools for research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, QA, analytics, and workflow efficiencies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product owners to translate strategy into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver features with clarity, quality, and velocity.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, beautiful, and impactful product experiences.
  • Support go-to-market efforts by partnering with sales, marketing, and customer success on messaging, adoption, and launch readiness.

Execution & Measurement

  • Own the entire product lifecycle—from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Define, track, and report key product metrics to assess performance and inform future iterations.
  • Make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, scope, and quality to ensure successful releases.
  • Foster a culture of rapid experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

Experience

  • 5–8 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, nonprofit software, consumer apps, or related industries.
  • Proven success building and launching products that generate measurable business impact.
  • Experience working in multi-product, complex environments.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong business and financial acumen, including ROI modeling and strategic prioritization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and cross-functional partners.
  • Deep customer empathy and a track record of translating insights into successful products.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with engineering, design, and product owners in Agile environments.
  • Comfort with AI and automation tools—and enthusiasm for applying them throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making.

Mindset

  • Curious, growth-oriented, and passionate about building exceptional software.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environments.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and taking smart, informed risks.
  • Excited to work in-person with peers and leaders in our Austin HQ 2–3 days per week.
