About the Role

Togetherwork is seeking a Solution Consultant to design, own, and deliver customer solutions that align business objectives with product capabilities. This role serves as a senior individual contributor within Professional Services and acts as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the solution lifecycle.

The Solution Consultant leads solution design, ensures alignment between customer needs and product capabilities, and maintains solution integrity through implementation and transition to Customer Success. This role partners closely with Project Managers, onboarding and configuration specialists, Product teams, and Customer Success to ensure solutions are scalable, implementable, and positioned for long-term success.

What You’ll Do

Solution Design & Customer Advisory

  • Lead discovery sessions and workshops to understand customer business objectives, processes, and system requirements.
  • Design end-to-end customer solutions aligned with business needs and Togetherwork product capabilities.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, implementable solution designs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding solution decisions, tradeoffs, and best practices.
  • Own solution integrity throughout onboarding and implementation engagements.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Onboarding Consultants, and Configuration Specialists to ensure solutions are executed according to design.
  • Identify solution risks, dependencies, and complexity drivers; proactively manage or escalate issues.
  • Ensure smooth transition of solutions to Customer Success and support teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales on complex opportunities requiring solution expertise.
  • Partner with Product teams to provide feedback based on customer needs and delivery experience.
  • Operate within PMO governance frameworks to ensure alignment with implementation standards.
  • Leverage tools, automation, and data insights for solution analysis, planning, and documentation.
  • Use delivery insights and operational data to improve solution quality, scalability, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of solution standards and delivery practices.
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools to support requirements analysis, documentation, and process optimization.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in solution consulting, implementation consulting, or related client-facing roles.
  • Understanding of financial/accounting processes (general ledger, AR, AP, revenue recognition).
  • Strong consulting experience with solution design and customer advisory responsibilities.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Experience delivering SaaS or enterprise software implementations in client-facing environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to clearly document solution designs, architectural decisions, and implementation considerations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar systems.
  • Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS) or membership-based platforms.
  • Experience working with associations, nonprofits, or membership-driven organizations.
