Togetherwork, the emerging leader in Group Management Software and Payments, today announced the acquisition of Pennington & Company, the leader in fundraising campaign management for fraternities and sororities.
Pennington provides fundraising services to hundreds of fraternity and sorority chapters, house corporations, alumni(ae) associations, foundations and headquarters. The company will be an independent operating company within Togetherwork and industry veteran Patrick Alderdice will continue to lead the company, as President. Pennington joins OmegaFi as Togetherwork’s second operating company in the Fraternal software space.
“I’m thrilled to have Pennington in the Togetherwork family,” said Neil Platt, CEO of Togetherwork. “We have brought together the two largest companies working with fraternities and sororities to advance the fraternal movement. By working in partnership, software companies serving the Fraternal space can provide more value to their customers, taking disparate products from independent companies and making them work together more efficiently.”
“We are excited to be part of Togetherwork and to work in partnership with OmegaFi,” said Patrick Alderdice, President of Pennington. ““We look forward to continuing our focus on what we do best: successfully executing fundraising activities that yield unmatched results for fraternities and sororities nationwide. Our partnership with OmegaFi will bring powerful, new resources to the table that we will make available to our current and future clients.”
Fred Maglione, COO of Togetherwork and CEO of OmegaFi, commented, “Togetherwork has added another piece to the puzzle in offering the most comprehensive set of products and services to further support, advocate and champion the work and objectives of Greek Life as a whole.”
Togetherwork has acquired eight companies in the past year, as it builds a growing family of group management and payments software companies.
