Togetherwork, the emerging leader in Group Management Software and Payments, announced the acquisition of Capturepoint, a leader in software for Recreation Management. Capturepoint is the developer of CommunityPass, a comprehensive, cloud-based registration management solution for recreation and schools. CommunityPass provides millions of families with the ability to register and pay online for classes, activities, memberships, tickets and more. Schools and recreation organizations use CommunityPass to service customer requests, track transactions, communicate with customers and maintain better control over their businesses. The company will be an independent operating company within Togetherwork, with founder Joe Oriente continuing to serve as President.
“I’m pleased to have Capturepoint in the Togetherwork family,” said Neil Platt, CEO of Togetherwork. “They represent a new step forward in expanding the breadth of customers we serve in the recreation and leisure market, and Togetherwork is in an ideal position to help drive their growth to the next level.”
“We are excited to be part of Togetherwork,” said Joe Oriente, President of Capturepoint. “CommunityPass is a clear market leader in our home state, New Jersey, and with the help of Togetherwork we are eager to expand our footprint nationally, while also bringing additional payments capabilities that will improve the user experience for our customers.”
