Togetherwork, the emerging leader in Group Management Software and Payments, today announced the acquisition of Bunk1, the innovator in parent engagement software for camps.
Bunk1 is used by hundreds of camps to provide a communication platform for parents and a suite of camp management modules for camp administrators. Its market leading products include a mobile app for parents to send Bunk Notes to their campers, view photos, and read camp news. As the primary point of connection between paying customers (parents) and the camp experience, the Bunk1 parent portal is the most important software tool for customer engagement. The company will be an independent operating company within Togetherwork, with industry veteran Rob Burns, continuing to serve as President. Prior to joining Bunk1 three years ago, Rob ran the boys camp for Lake of the Woods & Greenwoods Camps in Decatur, Michigan.
“I’m excited that Bunk1 has joined Togetherwork,” said Neil Platt, CEO of Togetherwork. “With this fourth camping software company in our portfolio, Togetherwork is building a market leading position and depth of expertise in providing software to a full spectrum of camps. Member engagement is the key element driving performance in this vertical. Bunk1 was the early innovator and continues to be the go-to player when camps want to provide the best parent portal experience.”
“We are happy to join Togetherwork,” said Rob Burns, President of Bunk1. “We see great opportunity to leverage the capabilities of our sister Togetherwork companies in providing unparalleled depth and breadth of software and payments capabilities to our camps.”
Togetherwork has acquired seven companies in the past year, as it builds a growing family of group management and payments software companies.
