While attending Auburn University, Tom worked as a counselor for Kanakuk Kamps in Branson, MO. It was here where Tom saw the impact that camping has on lives. Tom rejoined Kanakuk Kamps in 2006 when the camp launched CircuiTree to provide their proprietary software to other camps and conferences.
Over the years, Tom has held many positions within CircuiTree including: Reporting Analyst, Quality Assurance, Manager of Client Services, Director of CircuiTree Services, Vice President of Operations, and President.
- Q: What was the key factor in your decision to sell your business to Togetherwork?A: Togetherwork allowed us to add key resources that accelerated growth as well as a payment solution which allows us to better serve our clients and provides a significant impact to our bottom-line.
- Q: What aspirations do you have for your business today?A: With the additional resources provided by Togetherwork, we are aiming to expand our presence into several new camping markets as well as accelerate new functionality as we advance camping through technology.
- Q: What is the biggest fear you had when selling your company? How do you feel about that today?A: Our biggest fears were that we would lose our culture and be pressured to make changes that we did not want to make. Today, we no longer have those fears; from day one, Togetherwork has gone to great effort to protect our culture and they constantly are asking: How can we help? Joining Togetherwork was the best thing that ever happened to us as they continue to provide resources and open doors that would not have been possible before.
